The majority of carpets sold in Australia is one of the following four fibres Nylon, Polyester, Wool and Polypropylene. Each fibre has strengths and weakness that must be recognised. This will influence how carpet is to be used and at AJRFloors we are experts at helping you select the appropriate carpet to suit your needs. It should be emphasised that there is no perfect fibre and carpet is a fabric that is subject to incredible abuse through foot traffic, accidental spills, environmental contaminants and other abuses.
